Yeah LOL. I saw this ad. 270K and a $500 bumper to bumper "safety". WTF is that?

Do they adjust the muffler bearings with that?

Most of those smaller car dealers are charging $500 to safety a car these days.

Anyhow... I don't think that would fit in my garage. It's 189inches and it's tight to fit my 175 inch car in the garage length wise as it is. Basically this would be inches from the back wall.

What's the local availability of motors like anyhow?

This is an M54 right? (same as what was in the 3 Series right, therefore there should be an assload of them around no?)

I like, and could use another Munchenwagen as a sister to my current Gnome-Mobile.
The drawback is the dealership - been there twice, seems like shady characters running the place. Cars leaking fluids all over the place, cars with overspray, pushed in bumpers, lots of door dings and squealing fan belts.
I got turned off and left - still looking for an AWD Bimmer for winter.

That's often the case with those small dealerships.. like the pile of them in North York there. If the price from a dealer is too good to be true.. it.. probably is.

Still I don't mind a leaking motor here and there so long as I can determine the problem and find the parts.
