e46 328i Clutch Problems

The problem happens only sometimes... while i am releasing the clutch it jutters the car kind of like its going to stall.... there is a wierd sound also with it. I believe the clutch is still original with 210k on the car. Does anyone have a idea of what the problem may be.. it doesnt always happen probably 1/5 times im putting it into first, the rest of the gears are fine.

After driving further i have found that the problem exists when i start off in reverse, there is a loud rattling sound while engaging the gear

Thank You

it happens to me too when the car is cold. Just rev to 1500 and relese clutch, no more clatter.
It sounds like a huge vibrator in the back.
