All 3 variants require spacers to work.
I'd personally go for either of these:
15x7.5 +32
15mm front spacers
20mm rear spacers
205/50 tires
16x7 +40
20mm spacers all around
205/50, 215/45, or 225/45 tires

I recently lowered my car with HR sports and Bilstien sport shocks would that affect the offset at all too?

Alright, I'm not sure what tires to go with on my new bbs's. Here is a picture of the test fit:
e30 test fit by M50E30, on Flickr
as you can see, there's enough wheel gap to not have to worry about stretching a lot. And with the stroked m50, traction would be nice lol. So I'm looking for a decently aggressive tire with possibly mild stretch. Any thoughts?

That pic tells me...well nothing. Nice wheels though.
Width, offset, suspension setup please.

BC coilovers and front camber plates.
Thanks jay

88 convertible. 16x9 all around 215/40. H&R Race, e90 drop hats all spring pads in. Clearance issues up front? Roll in the rear?
Or go with 16x8 et 35 up front. Its 136.6mm of backspacing.

Would 15" by 8" with +22 offset fit? I have the 318i 1990 model.

16x9 is et20...seems like I calculated backspacing incorrectly. 16x8 et 35 is 150mm or 5.9"...I've heard 5.5 is the max on the front

I forgot to add I'm planning on running a lot of stretch and lowering it quite a bit.

Anybody gone wider than 205's on stock 14' Basketweaves? I gotta start shopping around for new tires and would rather not change my wheels yet. I'm thinking I'll get some studs and spacers and a fat, fat set of tires. You guys sell some of that hardware right Mystikal?

Yes. With 205/50 tires no rolling needed. For 215/50 or 225/50, you'll have to roll the rear arches.

You need +12 or lower for a 16x9 in the front with most suspension setups.
