You need spacers to mount them. 15 or 20mm. 205/50, 215/45, or 225/45 tires will work with either spacer choice.

+25. See the Apex Arc-8's in 17x8 +25, they were made with input from some awesome wheel fitment guy as the ideal E30 non-M wheel for big rubber.

Wheel Spacers

Hi there,

I want to put some wheel spacers on my E30...

My wheels are 7J 15'', wrapped in 205/50. Will some 2,5cm spacers work on the back? I want a nice stance without comprimised performance...

What would you suggest for the front?

Thanks again for this awesom thread and sharing of personal time and experience.

Paulo

Hmm,wonder who they found to offer such good advice??.

I was kinda looking at the xxr 530's(not sure if I prefer wheels with lip or concave on e30)in a 17x8.25 +25 for the front and the 17x9.75 +35 for the rear.

Bad idea??.

3mm front spacer to clear the struts. 205/50 if you don't want to roll your fenders.

Need the offset of the wheels first.

Yup, those work well. 215/40 front 235/40 rear. You might need small (5-10mm) rear spacers to clear the trailing arms depending on the tire used.

25mm is possible on the rear with a flat fender roll and coilovers. Otherwise, I'd suggest 15mm front 20mm rear. You'll still need a small rear roll if you're low.

Question about spacers and extended wheel studs

1) 10mm spacers on all 4 corners with 7Jx15" wheels (FWD offset that I can't remember off the top of my head right now).
2) 225/15 NT01s
3) GC Coilovers

I'd like to know if I need extended studs for these 10mm spacers.

Just wondering what it will take to get these wheels to fit on an 1987 325IS http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...etrack+-+White Is there 2 different offsets for the front wheels and rear wheels too? Will I need 2 seperate types of spacers? Should I run a wider wheel in the rear?
