Thanks man! Yea I have the UUC 8.5lb flywheel with the m5 clutch. Its fantastic, grabs really hard. I wouldn't recommend it for daily driving. It would be a little hard to deal with in stop-and-go traffic lol.

Had an Awesome Battle with Shawn at the GT Race last weekend! Here is the video:

Overall the car has been running well. Engine is pulling strong. Had some issues with it a few weeks age but it was just a faulty sensor. Apart from that, the car has been solid! A couple of shots:

Just one more question about your setup haha, do u have the getrag 260 tranny? if so did the m5 clutch simply bolt up to it?

Chris has the zf, but I have the getrag. You have to use a single mass flywheel (part of the uuc kit) but yeah, just bolts right up.

Oh and the red car in the video... That's a diesel rabbit lol

Haha yea the rabbit was sweet. Yup i'm using a zf, but the 260 has a big enough bell housing so it works as well with the kit. Shawn you have the 250 which is not the same.

Edit: Also brought the car to 8 legs shop last night for a corner balance/alignement.. Turns out it wasn't needed! Apparently i'm really good at eye-balling height settings lol. The Corner balance was perfect and i only needed to tweak camber on one wheel. The car weighs 2350lbs! This is with a half tank of gas. Was hoping for 2300 but i'm pleased with the outcome. The dissapointing factor is that 56% of that weight is towards the front. Need to figure out how to even that out a bit better!

Still have the stock hood or have you made up a composite one yet? You could also use your current front fenders to make molds off of, then make fully composite fenders as well (Can't remember if you just made the flares over the stock fenders or replaced the whole thing.)
If you haven't gutted the front bumper, there's weight to be lost there too.

Oops... my bad.

Don't forget Chris that 1/2 tank of gas is about 50lbs...so your car weighs 2300 dry... Although dry, your weight balance is going to be worse too!

Still have the stock hood that I gutted but still weighs 30lbs, so Could probably save another 25lbs with a composite hood. And you're right about the fenders, I just molded overtop of the stock fenders so I could save some more weight by making full fiberglass fenders. Good thinking! Also want to get rid of the stock metal valance and get a fiberglass bumper.

could also make a mould of the valance and replicate it out of composite as well. It isn't really high up, but it is pretty far forward.

Also if you still have the stock wiper fluid reservoir you could switch to an iX one that mounts on the front battery tray, or fab up a way to mount it on the floor in the cabin or something to keep the weight low and rearward.
