Desperate for clean e30 vert fenders. Finders Fee
I need some help Lads, I don't have the time to scour the net trying to find fenders, and I needed a pair about 2 weeks ago.
I'm asking for a little compassion, Caley is driving me f*#@k'n crazy, and if I don't put fenders back on her car soon i'm afraid I may do something ilegal.
Whoever finds me clean e30 CONVERTIBLE fenders will be rewarded with a crisp $20 and a life time supply of timmy's at M&M.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Why don't you call cross canada or Carquest Canada. they have decent aftermarket e30 fenders which I've used in the past for about 100.00 ea brand new. The gauge of metal is the same. fitment you'll have to play with a bit.

$20 Canadian??
Ceeker, aftermarket places don't supply vert fenders AFAIK. Vert fenders are different than regular E30 fenders.

Try these places, they'll ship. You're looking at some serious bucks but there is no way around that; you're not going to find vert fenders for $50 somewhere local.

If you're handy...
Regular fenders can be used on the vert but they need to be modified. They are identical except for the rocker portion, which is longer. There's a writeup on how to do the modification on another website that's hosted in Germany (not sure if I'm allowed to link to other sites here).
If you have to get the new ones painted anyway, this isn't a big deal. The seam for the modification will be invisible if done right, and if not, the molding will cover it.
Just an option...

So a couple of things:
a. Thread was two years old. It probably wasn't necessary to bump it up any longer.
b. I see only sedan fenders on that site. The thread was asking about convertible fenders.

He did find fenders and they have yet to be installed on the car. What's more, to my knowledge, he never did anything illegal.

Nothing illegal in relation to fenders, maybe, hah.
I've swung by his place a couple times but always managed to miss him.

He's living there now so you might have more luck catching him there

Wouldn't take much. I think it just needs the new fenders but his hands are pretty full with his place
