Where to get insurance for kit car..

bought a kit car, and it's now ready to go after lots of mechanic and body works.

but not sure where to get cheap, and good insurance plan for a cutom made car....wont be driving it a lot...

It probably falls under the "MODIFIED CUSTOM CARS, REPLICARS & STREET RODS" category.

They are now backed by Hagerty, which is good.

I was going to use them, but my current Insurance provided a similar quote.

It can't be a daily driver though!!!
You're driving record needs to be fairly clean as well.

Most insurance companies put it under street rod or hot rod. I think that is what is written right on your papers. If dont know for sure but if you can classify it like a classic/show car then it would be cheaper but you could only drive it on weekends, certain amount of kms, and cannot leave the car in a parking lot unattended (weird rules).
