M20 I head Rebuilt
Selling a rebuild I head with less than 4000km on it.
We no longer own any M20 equipped cars and so are liquidating. This head is in friggin excellent condition! I have blocks too if you need!
Pics very soon
250$ picked up in London, If you're not in a hurry I'll deliver it in person to Toronto and drink your beer and hang out for 20min... that is worth 250$ in itself!

SWEET deal !!! machining alone cost that...a rebuilt head runs 800-1200 depending.
does this mean you pulled the M20 from the e30 IS? (Grin)

It's a good deal regardless, but how good of a deal depends on to what extent the head was "rebuilt".
If it was just taken apart, cleaned, decked, and put back together with new seals it's an ok deal. If it's been fully overhauled then it's a wicked deal as you've already pointed out.

The extent of the deal...
This head was sent away by a local bmw mechanic to be checked out and restored. It came back to his shop with a bill that the owner couldn't afford, so it transfered ownership to the mechanic who paid the bill. A lein was put on the whole car. The mechanic parted the whole thing out. I grabbed this in the "fire sale"
What was done? No idea! Other than its clean and runs like an effing champ. The mechanic told me it was shaved a tiny tiny hair... But beyond that.???
There are markings in black and red all over it, which to me indicates it was at least thoroughly gone over.
If I had documentation I'd be asking double, but I don't... So I'm not.

Hey I'll have a look tonight, but I don't know at this point. I don't want to start selling based on an opinion rather than fact. I lowballed the price because all I can really say is that compression was awesome on it when it was installed and it was in some form rebuilt
This is essentially the dented tin can.... It's cheap and could be something great, but you won't know till you open it!

just did a ghetto leak down test.... not a drop getting through.
so whatever the case, the head is mega super dupper solid!

thats a steal if it was rebuilt. It cost me $550 to rebuild mine at a machine shop
