How low? What set up are you going to run? Give me a shout if you need an extra set of hands!

Ryan, realized last night I didn't toss you any coin for the rental of the roller. Sorry about that, I'll get you next time we meet

Just going with springs, no crazy coilover action. On the other hand, coilovers would have been great for winter but every E9x setup I see, the coilovers are lower than springs when set to their highest position. I'm just looking for a sport suspension look. There aren't many options for E91 XDrive though, so I calculated axle weights and worked out what springs to get from there. Went with Eibach Pro-kit. Soft, fluffy and the least amount of low, lol.

I found this out when I was joesing for a 545 a couple of years ago -- ask whether the dealer knows if there have been any coolant leaks. BMW put rubber seals on the main coolant pipe from the front to the back of the engine. Rubber O-rings in a high heat area? Let's just say they don't exactly have the best reputation for lasting a long time. Without this kit (http://www.allgermanauto.com/product/index.html) or a similar one, the teardown to fix those two little seals is a big job -- basically, the whole front of the engine has to come off.

As nice as that 6er is.. going from a Mazda 3 under warranty to a 6er with no warranty, you'd better factor in repairs. They might be fairly reliable (the 5er seems to be not bad) but when things go wrong, it will be more expensive than the Mazda. Just something to keep in mind.

I agree >_< That is absolutely jaw dropping...

I hear Jay about repairs, but I'm actually comfortable working on BMW's unlike the Mazda. I was searching for 6er problems and there's really not much. Unless it's a complete lemon, which I'm sure it might not be. But it wouldn't happen for a little bit anyways. It was only a quick look, because I felt out of place but oh well. I'd like to save a couple G's and do the trade-in, at least then I might get a very nice deal and keep things to a minimum payment wise ect...
