Unless you're full retard - you'll get the hang of it within a week of driving everyday. You shouldn't be stalling the car after a few weeks - if you are, stop and get someone to figure out what you're doing wrong.
A few random times is fine - I stall sometimes on steep hills when I'm not paying attention or feathering the clutch with a toe out of laziness.
