saw that this AM during my routine "BMW E30" Kijiji search under "ONTARIO"
1 thing comes to mind with that car.
it's got elipsoids...where those not USA only?
woulda been mighty easy to swap out the cluster....
Janex is notorious for selling uber-highmileage cars.

Elipsoids were Canada as well. Standard for 88 and up AFAIK.
That e30 does look really nice, but $5k is a little pricey.

I'm sure you could talk them down to $4K, which in my experience if you were looking for an unmolested, rust free E30 is right on the money.
If it's an ontario car then it will have the mileage logged at the ministry. I doubt a dealer would try to scam a cluster swap on a relatively value-less car. It's likely just a trade-in.

Agreed. If I was in the market for an e30 (or had a garage the size I really want), I'd be all over this one for sure.
Edit...Even has the same interior as my old e30 which makes me kinda sad.

I noticed that. I now have those door cards. If you wanna be nostalgic, come on over and take it for a rip.
(PS. Are you coming over on Saturday? You should.)

I might take you up on that. I've almost forgotten the e30 smell
I'm not planning on doing any fender rolling, or plan to be up by the 10am start time. But if the weather is nice I'll most likely be out on the bike so I'll probably stop by.

What a life of leisure. If you bring the ///M I can code it though but that can be done anytime.

why oh why where the cabriolets so neglected with these fancy things...bumpers, elipsoids etc...
my 1990 still rocks DB's and non-ellipsoids, it's a fully documented Toronto car.
