Aviva beat all of them by a fair amount.

I am 25 (26 in july), one ticket that comes off in december and no insurance history.
That's just cuz you are BAUSSS... :p

Richmond Hill is one of the higher ones too along with Brampton... kinda strange why... I understand Brampton - Probably tons of Ragu in Brampton...

OP -- I lived out in BC for a year as well and the price difference for insurance is astronomical!! I was paying $150/month on Vancouver island for our 2007 BMW 335i Convertible with ridiculously awesome coverage... and the 5% guaranteed discount annually was great too! (its because BC has government regulated auto insurance, but ON can do whatever the F*&$ they want because they are privatized...)

Now that I'm back in the GTA, I am paying $350/month for my two cars -- a 2000 VW Jetta VR6 and the BMW... And the VW is liability only. The BMW works out to be about $200-$210/month and I'm 26 and have a perfectly clean record.

It's awful, but its the absolute best I can find.
Everyone else was asking a LOT more... Especially for the VR6... WTF!!

Anyhow... I deal with a brokerage and I'm with The Dominion, if you want to try them out... Harish Rao is my broker (he's awesome), he's in Mississauga on Central Parkway, and his number is 905-276-9495.

GL!!

I used to have insurance with Dominion back in ON, they are GREAT. Not the cheapest, but come claim time, they are more than fair.

M coupes are driven by petrolheads who drive hardcore. M roadsters are driven by 50 something year old balding insurance salesmen, me & jay. Just demographics. I have friends with ferrari's and lambo's who have dirt cheap insurance (even in ontario). Super high end cars can be even cheaper than performance cars, because most people with a 360 baby it, store it indoors, and dont do 300 on the highway.

I am also looking around the two insurance companies that im going to try for is aviva and caa, i got a qoute from caa for my e30 for only 168 a month which isnt bad. A friend of mine was telling me that if i wanted i can get a 3rd party insurance for only 1500 a year.... Hmm it seems too good to be true.... Anyone else have experience with this?

Try TD Meloche Monex or Desjardins. I'm 22 and with Desjardins. My E30 was around 115 just last year but i took it off the road for now. My Tucson is 165 with Desjardins (full coverage) and 170 with TD MM. I might be getting an E90 though and with Desjardins they want $390 for both and only $280 for TD MM. That's full coverage on both and my girlfriend as principal on the Tucson with only a G2...not too shabby!
