I'm looking at a set of 17x9 et et23. I'm on GC coils. What would I need to make this work? If not these than a set of Borbet Type As 16x9 et15. If I run the Borbets, what's the max tire size I could run? This is on a 1990 325i.

17x9s: 15mm spacers all around, 205/40/17 tires, flat rear fender roll
16x9s: 3mm front spacers, 215/45/16 maximum with flat rear fender roll.

Mostly stock 91 318i! Did my research and came up with this: if the rims 17 inch with 7 inch width and et40 with a 73 hubcentric , I need to put a 15 mm spacers and a hubcentric that goes from 57 to 73... is my theory good? And do i have to do the same for the rears or i can leave it with no spacers? And finally does it exist a hubcentric spacer (basically a one piece) with these specs? Thx in advance for ur help... sorry if they seem like basic questions but im a newbie in that departement!

I'm looking at running a 16x9.5 et 38 on my e30. They are 5x120. I currently have a 4 lug setup up so i would need adapters, but what thickness upfront and in the rear. And how much would i have to roll the fenders. Also, please advise if this would be a good idea for the summer.

You're correct, except I'd go 20mm spacers all around on those. You can have spacers machined that will fit each hub perfectly but it's typically $$$ (350-400 per set).

Not with the proper tire size (215/40).

There is no specified offset, for any car. BMW fitted RWD E30s with 3 different stock offsets.

Best size tire for 15x7 et13?

Any issues with wheels that size?

Car is a 1991 318is with H&R race/Bilstein sport.

Thanks!

Oh and a pic just in case it helps...

No issues, but make sure they clear the front calipers (wheels in that offset/width range tend to be 2002/E21 fitment and don't leave much space for brakes). 205/50/15.

Awesome, I'll try them on the front and see how it goes.

Thanks!
