best way to remove grout from pipes..

one of my tenants washed his hands in the kitchen sink when tiling the kitchen and now the pipes are %90 clogged with hard grout residue.....its pass the trap and is likely at the elbow....whats the safest solution to disolve abit of the grout so I can send a snake in to break it apart.Baking soda and vinegar might work??...I dont want to use muriatic acid just yet....
.Never banned but came very close..three times

That doesn't really make sense to me. Grouts gotta dry to harden, how is possible to put that much grout down the sink when washing your hands, and then for it to actualy dry in the pipes?

Send the snake in now to break it apart, I cant really see the grout sticking that well to the plastic pipes.

I agree with Sirex. grout has to be dry to be hardened
I have washed excess grout from small container in the laundry sink
without it clogging.

You can change out the U PVC piece...if you think the grout has hardened
in that area.
