Winter Tires/Rims

I just got a 135i ( 135i N55 ) with the following wheel sizes:
R: 245/35 R18
F: 215/40 R18

I am looking for a set of winter tires/wheels and on past cars was always able to go down 1 size in diameter ie. from 18" - 17".

Tire Rack has a 17" option:
17x7.5 - rims
205/50R17 - tires

Does anyone see any problems?
