Managed to get the Nascar bar done today! Much more time consuming then i thought it would be.

They look sweet in tinfoil. I think you should finish them in tinfoil when you're done.

How do you plan to smooth out the fenders? Will you brush a layer of gelcoat on or something and sand them down?

Was planning on just sanding them down and using a bit of bondo if needed. Hopefully just a good sanding will be all that is required.

Haven't gotten a ton done on the cage lately, just tied in the rear subframe, and tied into the front strut towers. But just got the fenders mounted on the drivers side thought i'd snap a couple shots.





Obviously still have some trimming, sanding, and bondo to do but im pretty happy with how they turned out. All four fenders together weigh about 12lbs.

Here is how the car is sitting now:



Got the front shock towers tied in, A Pillar and B Pillars now gusseted as well as gussets on the rear X and the main X.

All thats left for the cage now is the Taco Gussets on the passenger door bar. After that, just need to mount up the passenger seat and it's ready for paint!
