Lots of assumptions here. You need to get the seller to divulge the offsets, they made those reps in +20 also (which will not fit your car).

Yes I know as BMWmck said +20 won't fit unless I roll the fenders/stretch the tire. That's what your saying right? The seller said he bought them off someone with a E46 so I'm assuming either

1. Their ET40 all around

2. The guy before rolled his fenders to get them to fit but why wouldn't he just have bought the right one?

That's what your saying though right? If its ET20 I have to roll the fenders or else it won't fit. Or will they not fit at all?

ET20 will fit, but with the 245/45 tires they won't fit well.

Here's a pic of 9" ET27, 245/40/18
You can see that if he was lowered, his fender would be sitting right on top of the tire. That's on a sedan mind you, but same idea.

I feel many would be surprised at the ignorance, both willful and innocent, that enthusiasts selling parts and cars possess. It sounds like the odds are that the wheels are what you want, but sometimes making sure can save a lot of time and effort. Just my $0.02 of advice.
