Hey, I made one for you too!!
YEaahhh...BOW CHICKA WOW WOW!!
HOWEVER...
Today my friend Simon and I cut Clint into tiny pieces.
First we cut off the roof, then the backseat and trunk, then the front past the firewall, then the floor out.
Much fooling around...
IT'S A VERT!
NEEDZ MOAR LOWZ...
And one of the big reasons the car was parted out in the first place. (more of the same on the drivers side)

|
ROFL, i have the same pics of dbletrouble and myself when we chopped up my old e30, vert pick and tucked rims, literally exact same poses

Now, with Clint long gone, work has begun on the (currently unnamed, with a concept title of "Anoobis") coupé.
Finished getting the H&R/Bilstein combo in, with new mounts. E36 steering rack is in as well.
I sat that M50 in the car and it felt good...so good I didn't take a photo.
Then I pulled up this (sun bleached to the MAX) rear parcel shelf...
...and found the party started YEARS ago.
Evidence is pointing to the car landing in Canada somewhere around 2001, then sitting since 2006. We found some club flyers from 2001 in the car, and the change in the ash tray is all mostly 2001.

Like some sort of moth, it obviously died while penetrating it's she-moth and they were there for 5 years. There were a load of weird bugs in the rear parcel shelf, all of them basically little shells.

Little bit of surface rust on the front rad support (dealing with)
Drivers side rockers has some surface (ignore for now)
Drivers side rocker has a hole (dealing with)
Rear valance has a hole on the drivers side (dealing with)
Drivers side rear floor has something funky going on (investigating)
And a little bubble on the sunroof.
The car is from Cali, so it's chillin. I don't feel bad putting money into it.

It too all my will to not turn the key, but it's ready to start. I'm bringing a friend out to double check my work, so I don't fry it cuz it's not connected right.
Also: you'll all have to help name this thing. I was thinking something in relation to the diving boards? Maybe Gangplank?

IMHO: Drive the car and let it's personality determine it's name.

True say. I'm finally staying in Ottawa for the summer.
The next project for the garage is a 1UZ (SC400 motor) into a 1985 Corolla SR5 (AE86). The Monte Carlo SS is mostly done, and the Gen 1 RX-7 is done.
There's gunna be some more wicked cars rolling around Ottawa, that's for sure. We should organize a car meet, cross genre, but invite only. (no Civics allowed)
