No, I don't like Hot Bits suspension. I've driven one car with it, and I thought it was terribly setup (although I wish I could have played with it a bit; it wasn't my car), but the turning point was seeing a failure with an E30-based suspension at Mosport which really shouldn't have happened... and that turned me off on their products altogether.

I've heard more positive comments on Ground control set-ups.

Yeah, the 2002 is the same way. I barely care to check my tire pressure at the track, so there was no way in hell I was going to buy a shock that needed to be compressed and monkeyed around with just to adjust it ... I talked with a local Koni dealer at length about different applications, and looked through a few Koni drawings (very handy to have access to) and I made a decision on what to get, versus going to Ground Control and forking out $$$$$

Out of curiosity PM me (or post here if you want) what your pair of custom valved top adjustable front shocks cost you.

These are actually Rears. I haven't ordered fronts yet because I have to pull the car apart and measure the strut housing once more to make a decision on which shock to get... I didn't pay for the rears yet, but I expect the pair to be around 300ish.

If that's the case that's a good deal because I just ordered a set of replacements from GC for my fronts because they are both damaged and it came out to $380 + shipping.

How did they get damaged? Are they just stock length E30 strut inserts?
