I've owned 2 already .. 2001 330xi and 2002 325xi

reg problems

- window regulators
- control arms
- BSC button goes after a long time as well

thats it .. the rest is regular maintenance

I have a 2003 325 xi and Blade identified some of the wear and tear issues for me minus BSC,recently replaced one of the window regulator and Mike from Maranello got me a good deal on that..also you cant go wrong with any of the cars you identifed.

Keep up with maintenance, you will be ok...

rear springs tend to break; might not even realize they are broken but a very common problem. window reg, control arms and bush. they are honestly from my bmw tech friend's experience, the next generation e30.

My uncle had an 02 or 03 not 100 percent sure 325xi. That thing had like 270k on it and according to him nothing really went wrong. He is also the type of person that doesn't care for maintenance and goes over on his oil changes ect. So I can only imagine how a well maintained one would last till. Really nice cars too.
