Yep check engine light, I didn't scan it so not sure what it could be.
If it helps you, it's not purple....it's Madeira Violet
Here is how it would look with an M3 bumper kit, although this is techno violet (it actually is more purple than Madeira Violet). Or Noodles' car is what I'd be referring to, I think he has a pic thread somewhere after fresh paint.

Oh I thought techno was an M colour only. Double check the strut tower for the paint stamp.

At 5k, it's still really only for complete lovers of the E36 car specifically. For 5k, you can start looking at some other nice cars as well.
And it was 4500. For an M3. Pics looked pretty damn good..ad got pulled fast. Must've gotten sold or dealer found out they were selling for way too low.
Nah, noodles101, I think know what I'm talking about. I know that M3s SHOULD be around 7-10k depending on level of mintness. But I also know that in general, normal e36s hold a lot less value. Few people manage to sell an E36 for 5k, regardless of how mint. The number of enthusiasts still gunning for one is dying in number and that price tag will come down. It is not a classic car and it is not remembered for much compared to, say, the E30.

It was either a scam, or a really good deal. If the ad was real, when someone wants a car real bad, they will get all their friends to fag the post so it can be taken down while they buy the car...

I contacted a guy on Autotrader for an E30 M3 (its actually still on Autotrader) He wants $8000, would go down to $6000
So he tells me he moved to Spain, car is in Halifax. If I want he can ship it to me after I pay.....
