If Canada were a true fascist state those protesters likely would have been either shot or jailed indefinitely, btw...detention is not jailing. Spend decades in a Gulag in the N.W.T or be put to death in a gas shower in a concentration camp before you equate abuse of authority in Canada to Nazi Germany or labelling us a fascist nation. Your efforts to sensationalize are hollow and an insult to the millions who died in the holocaust for simply being born.

I know it was a political movement, but their views of exterminating the social delinquents or anyone they felt were preventing them from achieving their goals are what they are known for.

Not to mention the Nazi party initially started with a very anti capitalism and industrialisation, much unlike the current state of affairs. Combine that with their efforts to eradicate an entire group determined by the religion, economic views and apparent hindrances on society and you're left with a group nothing like our current form of government.

He's trying to sensationalize them because the Nazi's portrayed such a bad image, it's a far stretch to compare the two.
