People don't usually buy an intake for massive gains, because there are none. It's mostly for the sound.

True, most people do buy them for the sound, but some gains are still there.

I'm not very familiar with the older M50s , but in the newer M54s some intakes can provide 0 hp gain some as much as 6rwhp and some can make you even lose HP. All been proven and backed by numerous dynos.

I would suspect the same could be said for the older M50s, but I might be wrong.

do you have the cold air in take for sale? if so would it work on a 97 328i?

this kit is for the 2.5L motors, it would need the temp reg. from a 2.5L air box to fill the side tube to work on a 2.8L

Check your air filter box, if there is 2 coolant lines running to it and the regulator ( held in with a 10pm bolt) then it will work, I'm pretty sure obd1 cars all have this set up.

almost the weekend bump, I will have a tent/booth set up at the Trillium BMW Club Autocross race on Saturday Aug 6th at the Poweraide Center in Brampton, if anyone in the West end needs one!!!
