What a smooth lapping day! BMW Toronto holds one of the most organized days... highly recommended. Good people running it, civilized participants, good times!
And congrats to Kurt, hes getting faster and faster... I got my work cut out for me to beat him with the next car I build (maybe it was my sweet alignment that made the difference ROFL)

But, the more expensive cars are quicker. So it just depends if you have budget and just want to go out and have some fun, you can save some money. If you have to be one of the faster ones, it's going to cost you big! I've got a mortgage, two kids, a dog, and a wife, so I have to live on the frugal side, BUT, I still have my fun!

Yeah the day couldn't of been better. Absolutely love the BMW Toronto days. Never had a complaint.
Rudy's secret alignment definitely helped. Hopefully I can do a race or two next year now that I'm getting fairly confident with my driving and the car.
Only issues so far include the brake pedal still having massive travel and a front strut is leaking oil already.

This is an awesome thread. I can't wait to get my car back on the track, although I'm probably not going to dedicate it to be a full track rat yet.

Thanks guys!
Right now I have TcKline double adjustables on it right now. Spring rates are 500/700 but I'm thinking about bumping up the rates a bit for next year.

Well it's been a while since an update.
I have to pull the front shocks and have them shipped to TcKline for a rebuild. One shock started leaking after just 3 track days. So I'm sending both off just to make sure they're equally valved.
I also got a new carbon hood to replace the repaired one:
A nice christmas gift I should of gotten a loooong time ago:
I also installed a Stewart waterpump:
So by spring time, I have an Xbrace to install, Front Swaybar and possibly some more goodies.
Next step is to get the Hood and new front bumper painted.

Why would he replace his S/S brake lines?
.......

They're pretty much a wear item.

I had the front subframe and rear trailing arm pockets reinforced. Rear subframe and swaybar ears weren't required with a stock rear swaybar.
I just never got around to putting the xbrace on. That, with the front sway bar should really change the way the car handles. I was having issues with front grip on turn 3 and 8 at Mosport. Hopefully this fixes the problem!
