VF did a revamp of their company structure/engineers/tuners and game plan, and it definitely showed a good result.
Did anyone notice the special mod from AR design? This car is one of the only S/C'd E9X M3 w/DCT utilizing this product, without that...I would expect a different result with those tires, especially street tires. . More info here on their "Line lock" product.
Another thing to boast from VF is user switchable 91 and 100 octane maps, and a valet mode/anti theft mode too!
Next summer is going to be hot for sure! Single turbo 335I, more and more tuned N55s, and the bar is constantly being raised for the S65 guys.
Edit: Another thing is VF always has only 6psi on all their kits unless they are modular. Anyone else ever chime into that?

Pretty sad when a thread like this goes unnoticed on a BMW forum... I thought there would be a lot more discussion on something as epic as this...

I agree. HPF E46 M3's haven't even gotten to this realm yet on DR's and race gas mode.

Take that DCT and line lock away and that's a 11.5 car. You can tell from the low trap speed.

guess people aren't into drag racing, his time had alot to do with the line locker, and tires. Impressive power yes but those tires and line locker would do nothing for anything but drag racing.

Got the same line lock from AR on my car...with DRs my RB turbo 335i should be in the 10s as well...my traps are up in that range as well..
Great run from VAC for sure! I'm waiting for them to finish their N54 head port to see what it does on something like TB turbos

In my post I put a link to the Line lock product. Basically, what it does is to bypass the rear calipers allowing you to lock up the front wheels with your foot on the brake, and have your rear's spin freely with modulation of the gas pedal.

Good 1/4 numbers and trap speed! but the DCT and line lock help for sure....HPF needs to get their cars into the 9s next yr.....im very curious to see their single turbo 335i kits, especially how they plan on doing things on the engine management side of things..
