Nope, those cars never made it to North America.
I believe the car was probably imported from South America or Mexico.

Perhaps it was originally sold in Mexico? Weren't the import restrictions on Mexican used cars recently lifted?

I looked at the car when he was next to me, and the body was mint. So it's a Fiat Uno not a Panda... Hmm so was not a Uno one od worse Fiat models ever built? I doubt if these are worth anything in Europe...

Honestly, to be even more ironic, I had my SLR camrea in the car, so I could ve' snapped some good pictures of that car. I was just lazy and also there too many stupid/tired drivers on 401 to take a risk of being caught up in taking the photos. The owner was some dude in the late 30s. The guy already looked over at me because he could tell that I was eager to check out his car hehe.

I always wanted to ask this question to Canadian Italian. How was it back in mid 1990s when Japanese wiped out Alafs and other Italian car makers from Canada/Usa. Did Italian diaspora try to help by purchasing Italian or that played a very small factor, in better words they could do anything about it. I heard something as the cars often needed to be serviced than their Japanese counter parts. Honeslty, what is the truth?
