I would totally buy that if
A) I had the means
B) It had less mileage on it.

I would do some light performance upgrades to the engine and exhaust to make it a bit more powerful and louder... hehe. Seriously. Because V8 wagon.

Evidence:

Imagine that thing slowing down like that and coming to a stop at the intersection you are about to walk across. You'd shit a brick.

Fixed for you.

But seriously, in Montreal at F1, the safety wagon is the 2nd loudest car on the track next to the F1 cars. It was the first thing I heard at the track and I was very surprised to see what it was.

This is true, it's even louder than the SLS AMG.

I'd love an E39 540I wagon, even after the "fun" I had with my 540I. Especially with a 6-speed swap.

KM's are high yes, but you would not find a better maintained 540 on the used market. 1 owner, maintenance up to date. Long list of parts replaced in the last two years alone. No issues. Well, very minor ones. I could be wrong, stupid for paying that much for a car with 285k but considering what I paid for my last 540 and the issues it had, this one was a bargain. I'll keep people up to date on what happens with it. I also intend on keeping it for a long time, so resale is not a huge concern for me.

You can read more about it here. Taking delivery of the car this coming Friday.

Indeed, there is a bun in the oven, so this is the perfect excuse to get the wagon from hell

Dude, calm down. If you're having a family, you're not going to be having fun.

Who said family doesn't equal fun? Just a different kind of fun!

Yeh no. Those semi-human leeches do nothing but suck up free time and car building money.
