the ride height sucks but its just fine for winter, cant wait till spring when the 3,000$ worth of goodies and an s52 goes in.

 You're wintering it after a new paint job? I don't think I'd let my car see rain if I got a new (proper) paint job.

If you've got rust there then you have to be sure you get it all.
Get a sand blaster kit from Crappytire, I don't think its enough to
just grind it out. The rust on mine was pretty nasty, so I cut back
and tacked in some metal. I had a pretty good guide looking over
my shoulder so I'm not going to take all the credit.

There are lots of opinions on sandblasting vs treating vs coating.
I am going with rust bullet (coating) Car is never going to see winter.

Ya I'm not going to baby it, I built it with a 5 year plan in mind. It'll be a daily driver and occasional track toy until I build an e21 group 5 replica for the track and get a new low key daily, at that point i'll kill it.
As per the M bits question... I got every thing from Tom at bimmer auto in Camebridge.
