can't set clock ?

I think my clock is broken. It worked last time I adjusted it (a few weeks ago) and I went to set it back for daylight savings today and it won't work. When I push the knob in it does switch between 24hr and 12hr but when I try to turn it to adjust the time it does nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? What is involved to fix it?

it is probably the prongs on the circular knob that may have broken off... it is sort of like a "T" where when you turn the knob the top edges of the "T" turn left and right to depress buttons on the printed circuit board... I don't think BMW sells this part separately as I just looked on realoem.com and couldn't find it to show you.

You can pull out the cluster and have a quick look at that dial. Really easy to pull out the cluster ... two screws up top, then the whole unit slides out. Unplus the two connectors, four more screws and she comes apart. I take mine out often and I usually have it out and back in about 15min.

OK, my bad, fortunately there is nothing wrong with it! I just wasn't turning it hard enough until it clicks..I wasn't sure how hard to turn the little knob and was worried about forcing it. The other morning I hopped in the car, and figured if it's already broken what do I have to lose so I just turned it a bit harder and to my satisfaction it worked like it's intended to.
