LOL different people learn at a different pace and I'm no Shaun White / Travis Rice / Nico Muller hence still a noob and thanks, I was really considering a Lib Tech board because they're wide and I wear a 10.5~11 boot. But since the Sierra has a tapered drop on the edge, it makes up for the boot sticking out/over.

With all the snowboarders who go to blue here, I'm starting to think of a maxbimmer ski/snowboard day hahahah. Mind you, I no longer have a BMW but that will change in due time.
Either way, seems like some of us might be bumping into one another regardless. This year I'm going to attempt to learn how to do jumps and other things so I may or not be in pain for most of the winter.

I strongly suggest getting a helmet if you don't have one already if your planning jumps/rails.

I bought a helmet last year before I even bought snowpants hahahaha. The last thing I want to do is damage the thing that makes me money.....my brain.
Either way, not sure i'm gonna be doing rails, just jumps for now. Have you done jumps and all that? Any advice?

I've hit a rail once, after that not for a while...lol...I was @ Lake Placid, hit a rail perfectly fine, coming off my edge caught on some ice. Ended up doing a backflip some how and landed on my head. I had my helmet on, but I was still out cold for a good 5 seconds.
So I don't think I'm the best to give advice on it hahaha

I did some little ones last season, gonna try to get bigger this one
Try it at the end of a run where it's semi flat first while youve got some speed

I'm down! I'll roll up in my sexy Kia Magentis. Sometimes I wonder how I even handle such a powerful car.........

^That's great that you have accomodation here, saves you money for other stuff.
I'm planning to get some of my first rides in next month, one weekend or Saturday probably at Zugspitze. The drive is about a hour from my house. I'm really looking forward to a few places in Austria and Switzerland I want to checkout. Has anyone ever been to Adebolden Switzerland? I'm really looking forward to riding there in the next few months.
I'm riding a K2 Raygun, with K2 Cinch CTX bindings and Ride Anthem Boa boots. Boots and bindings I picked up at the beginnig of the season last year, I can't stress how much I love the cinch bindings, I don't think I ever sit down through the day with the step-in setup. Same for the Boa's, super easy to adjust at anytime throughout the day. K2 Raygun I bought on a good deal at the end of last season, rode it once or twice and was very happy with the choice.

That's a sweet k2 board -- u like your anthem boas? I just traded mine in I liked the adjustability but it was tight at the ankle and loose further up for me
I'd be down for a meet I got a winter-beamer

^ Thanks, so far I'm loving the Raygun. I actually really like my Anthem Boas, although I know people are split on the Boa system debate. I love that I can adjust fast without much effort, and the boots themselves are a fantastic boot whether in laceup or boa. I wear my snow pants in a way that part of the inner shell goes in between the boot and my shin so it is quite snug. Paired with the K2 Cinch step ins, the setup is awesome for my preferences.

Just confirmed. Heading back up to Lake Placid on November 29th - December 2nd. Buddy has a timeshare and needs to use his points, might as well.
