just bought a 1996 alpina b8 4.0

hello everyone i havent posted in awhile but i just added to my alpina collection with a mint 1996 b8 with only 47km on it . the 4.0 b8 is a V8 thats just over 300 hp and 300 fpt . the only pics i have are from japan and the auction house . it will be here in a few months .

my b3 is a twin except for the drivetrain

I've noticed that SK is the origin of all of the Alpina e36's I've seen in Canada. Is there some sweet law there that allows for easier importing from Japan?

How much does a car like that cost?

there is a guy in quebec not far from ottawa that has a red b3 3.0 thats very nice and i think we have the only 2 in canada . i dont think the laws here are any diff than the rest of canada regarding imports . my b8 was pretty expensive 24k but i think it will appreciate in value over time

i think so too from what i have read 0 to 60 in 4.7 and 13.3 1/4 mile . i know a guy that has a 2010 335xi so ill have to race him next spring see how it matches up

hey thanks . do u happen to have any e36 business radios and if so pics and how much . i would want newer like 96 and up

I have a E36 biz CD-radio unit which I purchased a while ago. What kind of radio unit you have in that vehicle. I am looking to upgrade, but if it is silver like in the picture, I might pass on it as I am looking for something that looks decent within the car.

the one thats in it is useless the radios from japan wont work in canada

I won't be in a position to resell the radio until at least the Spring because the car is heading into winter hibernation till mid-April in about a week or so. :-)
