does an error light show? Check your MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR and your AIR FILTER to be sure they are both clear and clean. I figure those are easy to check? Air filter might have to be replaced.

Did you check the air meter first, also oem or nothing imo, you get what you pay for. For $135 your gonna be doing the job again real soon, sorry but just what I see.

it's most likely a vacuum leak somewhere. maybe a vacuum hose has a crack.

Yah i hear there are some good spots of guys making rotors in TO.
I got front rotors when i had a Nissan Altima and they served me well!
Unless they are using some sort of amazing metal alloy... but its always buyer beware.
There are enough good deals on stock OEM rotors in TO that you may not have to go the ebay route... just depends.

$135 for pads and rotors??? Hope they don't fall apart after the first hard braking moment.
As for the idle issue, check for any vacuum leaks. Had it happen to me and I found a small crack in my vacuum line - replaced it and all good again.

Vacum leak. Had the same thing, had to get it changed and cleaned the system and that fixed it.
Fix it fast, eventually it can lead to multiple error warning lights along with the fluctuating idle.

Most likely its the lower intake boot, most common problem.
If its not that, then its your ICV, clean it up and go.
It its not that then clean your MAF or potentially replace it.
What year is your car ? auto or stick?

M3s are different, way different.
Could be your precat O2 sensors , could be your vanos.
