BMWCC Trillium ADS & Club Race Photos & Video

Some photos from this past weekend @Mosport GP for the BMWCC Advanced Driving School & Club Race:

2 in-car videos from this past weekend.

First one I'm passing a slower moving Porsche Carrera towards the end. Held me up on T8, was expecting him to open up a wider gap on the back straight.

Can only post 1 video in the post, here is the second.

This second video was the beginning of the last track session on day 2. I was following an M5 and Porsche around the track past some slower traffic, towards the end the track opens up, but my iPhone's battery died. Unfortunately i don't have video of me passing the M5 the next lap and then the Porsche on the lap after that. Both point bys were on the front straight.

Thanks, this was my 2nd school.

My goal was too take it easy on the last session, I was signed off by my instructor, so i was running solo. Because I was also running low on gas, I was short shifting on the back straight to conserve fuel. I think that helped me smooth things up alot more because I was alot more relaxed.

Nice videos! You used your iPhone for that?

That's cool that you get the GPS+ accelerometer!

Yup i used my iPhone 4 and Harry's GPS lap timer available from the app store. Since the GPS signal wasn't too great, the speed and GPS aren't accurate, you can buy a gps add on for better signal, but it's still pretty kool.
