*** Grand Finale Cruise 2011: Sunday September 18th (GTA) ***
Date: Sunday September 18th
Meet start: 1:00pm
Meeting Place: Dave & Busters Woodbridge (120 Interchange Way, L4K 5P7)
I love this cruise. It's my favourite and I'm sure some of you have heard me say the same in the past. Here's some blatantly reposted pics from 2009's event to show you what I mean:
Lots of beautiful scenery, trees changing colour, twisty roads and a line of Bimmers all around. What else would you want? Oh yeah, food. We finish the cruise along a little bay where you can enjoy either the fancy Regatta Steakhouse or a more casual experience at Boston Pizza. Both have patios that are built onto docks on the waterfront with more than enough space for all of us.
Important notes (actually read them!):
o This is a full day event, we will not return to the GTA until ~8pm.
o You will need a full tank of gas at the beginning of the cruise so fill up before coming to D&B.
o HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, CAR REGISTRATION, AND INSURANCE. OPP have visited us on this cruise, and really only ticket for a lack of these basic items. Driving on bald tires is another easy ticket to get.
o Dinner is at approximately 5:00pm.
o There is a gas stop right before dinner at a Petro Canada with 94 octane.
o FRS radios will be used during this cruise, and are very helpful tools to have. Channel will be announced at the meeting spot.
