Good luck. I found them to be bastards and there was no way out - in spite of having good cause and making a reasoned and civil appeal. They'll never get my business again and in fact I will never sign another phone contract. A $99 iPhone seems great until you look at it and realize you're locking in for around $3600 in contract, the other problem being that most of the phones won't even last for the 36 mos.

Why do you wanna cancel?
Have you tried telling them to want to cancel and move to another provider? Tell them what deal your getting and They might give you something similar.

3600$ for 3 years?
I pay 56.50$ after taxes (including SAF) and i have
300 daytime
evenings/weekends @ 8
1000 min LD (canada)
Unlimited incoming
1GB data
unlimited text
visual voicemail
This isn't even that good of a plan.
No one's phone bill should be 100$ a month. I got my buddy set up with the rogers EPP plan (17.50$ for 200 mins) + 6gb data and a SIP gateway, he calls HK for a couple hours every day off his cell, and still only ends up paying about 65$ a month for all his services. (plus iphones have nice SIP direct outbound dialing apps)

I don't get what the big deal is to be in a contract..
I've been with Rogers for 12 years straight now.. I'm still in a contract (get's renewed every time I get a new phone).

Have you ever dealt with Rogers? Like I said, good luck.
Contracts were ok when phones were well made, like Nokias were 10-12 years ago.

You have to know how to deal with them, I am with rogers on a good plan that they offered after i threatened to cancel. I've also helped others reduce their bill and get a better plan.
I've been with rogers since GSM first came out.
Every year for the last 3 years I've gotten a new iPhone and all i had to do was renew and pay the contract price ($149,$169, etc). I've had the first iPhone that didn't come to Canada, then got the iPhone 3G, 3GS & iPhone4 through rogers. After each phone upgrade i sold the old one for $300-400 making a nice profit each time.

Well, than do the math and see if it is worth switching to Wind. That's in case if you have to cancel. I wold try to work out a deal with rogers. Mnay times you sign with a new provider, and they sent you a different bill.

Cool. Since you are an expert on plans, I want to ask if mine plan is okay...
-200min Daytime
-Caller ID
-Voice Mail
-6pm-7am unlimited + weekend
-no DATA, no text no Long distance
They want $35 after the taxes. I am not locked into any contract.... I used to have a data, but I used to get killer bills so i removed that. Never used but no idea what happened.. What you think?

Tell them that and they'll match it.
