anybody know somebody?

Window only goes up to about an inch from the top then clicks rapidly and wont move, anybody ever fixed this problem without replacing anything, just hoping it is something i am not seeing and can be fixed quickly. if not does anybody know somebody Who has an early 318i with window regulators? I may need one for my 2 door drivers side.

I rebuilt my non-functioning passenger window motor and it does the same thing. Luckily the window gets all the way closed before the clicking and vibration starts. Probably has something to do with the worm gear on he motor but I don't know how to fix it.

Get another regulator and motor. used is pretty cheap. and you only wished it was a quick fix. (Grin)
