Damn.. I'm making my switch from a 540i to a 2008 335i sedan 6 speed.. Still have my doubts about doing this but I am carless right now and need one asap. The 540i is actually better on gas then the 335i plus I heard the 335i is not that reliable.. Oh well time is running out.. let me know if you guys got any feedback on these rides.

wow some old school members in here. Kal I drove the 335, and I have to say its much more fun to drive than the E39. I don't think you'll be disappointed in terms of drivability.

To add to what Julian said - just be careful with the High Pressure Fuel Pump. They have a tendency to fail.

Yes i heard of this problem. I'm sure the drivability is all good it's the reliability I am worried about.
