Thoughts on Front Speakers for e39?

I'm upgrading my speakers and looking for input. I'm thinking of removing the rear 'subs' and replacing with a real sub (blowing through skipass) and upgrading the fronts to 6.5" (with custom brackets). I'm looking for recommendations on the 6.5" fronts - type and store to purchase from. Obviously components.
