Lightbulb FS: Dinan "Cold Air Intake" for E38

For sale is an original Dinan CAI from a 2001 E38 740i as seen at:

http://www.dinancars.com/store/produ...cat=443&page=1

Cold Air Intake (for 99-01 740's)

The High Flow Cold Air Intake Systems replace the factory air box with a cylindrical performance filter and large diameter aluminum intake plumbing designed to minimize air turbulence and maximize efficiency. The filter is relocated to a separate compartment behind the front bumper and below the headlights in order to insulate it from engine compartment heat and maximize exposure to cool, oxygen rich air for maximum power gains.

Condition: Black aluminum tube has a couple of very minor scratches from original installation, but otherwise looks perfect/like new.
Filter is also very clean, but the rubber end cap is becoming brittle at the edge (cosmetic), so personally (being the picky freak that I am) I would order a new one (only $50).
Missing is the Air Filter Sock (some don't use it) and it can be purchased for only $29 at: http://www.dinancars.com/store/produ...cat=443&page=1
If it's too much trouble for you, I can order the above parts for you at cost and your unit will look like new out of the box.

Price: $295 (over 50% off new)

Contact: PM or e-mail me at whiteperlies@aol.com

An idependent mechanic should take 1/2 that time.
Dinan, just like BMW, is notorious for their exagerated labour allowances.

Exclamation Correction:

Just came back from the local Dinan shop and I was told that the CAI I have for sale is not for a 1999-2001 740i, but for a 1/97-98 e38 740i.
This would then be the correct link: http://www.dinancars.com/store/produ...cat=443&page=1

As a result, I have nullified my pending sale on bimmerforums, as this intake would have not fit on the buyer's 2001 740i.
I will have to start a new and correct for sale thread tomorrow + now also available will be the matching Dinan High Flow Air Mass Meter (MAF) for 1996-98 cars (see ~> http://www.dinancars.com/store/produ...cat=443&page=1).

Anyone with a 1997-98 740i reading this gets a head start and is welcome to PM me an offer.
Additional pics will be up in my new for sale thread, by tomorrow.
Again, I apologize for the mix-up and inconvenience caused.
