Mirror Glass Replacement

Where is everyone getting their side mirror glass replacements from? I can only find it for coupes/convertibles up here in Canada and seriously not paying BMW prices for side mirror glass.

I've been trying through NAPA up here to ship me a set out of the states but nothing thus far is concrete. Anyone else replace their heated sedan side mirrors through a Canadian supplier?

I have ordered other parts from these guys. Recommended - cheaper and quick delivery.

I checked that site, they want $75 for the left side and $98 for the right side glass.

How does that make any sense?

My driver's side has a stain but for now I am living with it for now. When I decide I want a nice and pretty looking one I guess I'll have to open up my wallet. Phone them up and ask why the price doesn't seem to make sense.

One is convex, the other is flat.

Bmw pricing in its history has never made any sense even when I worked for them. That is considered cheap. Actually that is pretty good considering these were the prices 10 years ago. I would gather these are heated for that price. Bite the bullet and buy em. bimmerspecialist gets their parts from bmw direct. Some stuff they carry is aftermarket and some isn't. Obviously, the mirror glass isn't. But it is still cheaper then buying up here.

Yes I think they are a decent price, and I need a few things so I'll be making a purchase with them.

If it doesn't end up working out with bimmerspecialist I will be in touch. Thanks!

Guys, grab them from any wreckyard. You can get a decent one for under 50 bucks. I got mine from Hamilton - cost me 40 for the drivers side...painted it myself and hooked it up.

The wreckers is your best bet if you're a penny pincher. But even then there are no guarantees as to the condition of the glass (unless you see it).

Don't sneer at the price, even from BMW. Once you see the glass itself, you'll be surprised to see how complex it actually is. It's not just a piece of glass as most think it is. It has built in heating elements and electrical connections along with this fluid that enables the auto-dimming. Pretty intricate piece.
