E92 Burnt Down to a crisp

This happened May 30th at the LA Fitness in my area. I was eating dinner at the other end of the plaza with my two sisters when we started seeing thick black smoke bellowing into the air. I initially thought it was a construction fire as they're widening the highway near there. But when we got closer - completely different scenario.

Don't know the full story but "supposedly" there was a propane tank in the trunk and it was 100~110F outside (roughly 38C) and I guess it went off. We didn't hear anything go off like a grenade so to speak so the claims we heard were rather far-fetched. Anyways here are the pics.

For the GTA folks, this happened at the Courtney Park LA Fitness on Hurontario & Annagem.

That's very strange. There was a E92 335 that burnt down near my work 2 years ago, and when I talked to the fire fighters, they said there was probably a fuel leak, but the car was brand new.

No propane tank is going to blow up at 38C...A defective one might leak out (seen it happening) but still needs to be ignited. The damage would have been far more! I've seen several burned E9X's...Even have one of 3 brand NEW E90's that burned right on the dealer's lot!

I think the car realized it didn't have the same BMW heritage anymore and committed suicide.
