Not to take anything away from this-- it's awesome-- but this demonstrates a pet peeve of mine with the ever more popular in car TV-presenter schtick... it's all well and good to have Jeremy Clarkson cracking wise while he hamfists another luxo-convertible around an airfield with lots of tiresmoke and limited finesse, but there are times you have to shut the **** up and concentrate on what you're doing. The driver here gives lip-service to this fact but obviously should have taken his own advice.

Hell even Top Gear knew well enough to make The Stig a non-speaking character. The Isle of Man isn't exactly a tire-walled run around an airstrip. Bah. I digress. No biggie. As you were.

Video of him getting the rest of the track very, very right.

Stick around for the end of the video for an in depth walk through of that big tankslapper.

Unless you're a legend like Brock Obviously Bathurst is not nearly as terrifying as the Isle of Man, but he looks like he's out for a Sunday drive lol waving at the camera driving with one hand flat out

or this one, has to hold it in gear, steer with one hand, while having a conversation with the commentators

And if you noticed, both video clips had a little chirp at nascar drivers lol

...amazing save in that scooby though

Well, yes. There's always the "unless you're Peter Brock" clause. I thought that went without saying.

Doesn't matter how we want to slice it, that took a shit load of skill to keep that shit in line.
