Guess that answers my long standing question about whether or not paint goes over plastidip, I was worried about lifting.

To each this own. If I wanted them, I would've had them. I loved the SSR'S is ever since I first saw them in 01.

Wow, just Plastidip'd? Where did you buy it? Amazing way to change the look of wheels without permanent paint.

Plastidip! That's a great idea... I'm going to have to give that a shot, and I know exaclly which rims i will try it on.

Who sprayed them for you?

Myself, it was piss easy. Just make sure you put a lot on. Use at least 1 spray-can per wheel.

Cool, thanks Randy. I'll only be spraying 15" rims, but they're pretty much a full disc slightly concave face, so there's a lot of surface area. I can't wait to give this a shot. It'll bring new life to this set of rims that must be at least 25 years old.

Any updates? How's the plastidip holding up?

If it has been removed since, did it come off easy?

Thanks!!!

Plasti Dip holding up surprisingly well. No change yet from when I applied it back in March. The guys at Auto Evolution even changed my tires without doing any damage to the film!

I like the rims the way they were before. Something about the grey centre and polished lip really popped on ur car. Like others have said, Im not a fan of the tinted tails. I think if you just tinted the red part and left the rear indicators clear, it would look dope. Grab some LEDs and tint wrap (instead of tint spray) and youre good. Car looks dope either way and overall tho bro, really like it
