Thanks dude. I'm super motivated currently into getting this car done. My goal is to be able to take it to Mosport in June to shake it down. We'll see. Depends largely on me getting a job once I'm done school in April

After a fairly long hiatus, I pulled the car cover off today and made a quick assessment of what I should concentrate on next. I was in a painting mood today around the house, so in the afternoon, I took a break to paint the roofliner from that questionable cream colour to a nice, matte black. I will take a look at the cage this week, possibly recycle some piping from an AutoPower roll bar that came with the car, or construct something new. We will see.

I wish I had more to say.... roll cage piping is ordered... hopefully I can start on that next week. The car is now fully white.. no more 'rust' colour anywhere. Gonna work some more on the outside paintwork when the car is more complete. Being at the track almost every weekend since April isn't helping me for progress either

Figured I should post some of my progress in the past few weeks (months)...
I can report my welding is getting much better... but I still think I will leave the roll cage welding to the pro Once the base plates of the cage are finished, then I will know how/where to run the fuel lines so I can get started on the fuel system.
After sandpaper, wire wheel and paint:

I think this thing should still qualify for BMW Roadside Assistance, don't you?

I thought roadside assistance automatically comes with the CPO cars?
