Winter Tires for OEM 17" Style 161's

Howdy,

I am looking to use my 17" staggered Style 161 rim setup for winter:


Front 225/45R17 x 8 Rear 255/40R17 x 8.5


Need winter tires... people have advised that staggered is not the way to go.. What size tire can/should I be looking at slapping on these rims to make for a safe winter setup..

I've read that people have put 225/45 and 235/45 all around for a non-staggered winter setup.. will this work??? will it be safe???..

How is that not staggered?? Go with 225/45/17 all the way around and you'll be fine.

ya i had 225 45 17 winter set up last winter , looks good and most importantly it gripped good too. 235 would be okay too, sticking little bit further then the rim so for those...JUUUST incase ocasions..lol rubber to protect the rims from the curb...hehe
