Feeler: Osram or Philips HID Bulbs $150/pair
This is just a feeling to see how many people are interested. I can get the following 4100k HID bulbs for $150 CDN:
D2S Osram Xenarc (standard)
D2S Philips (standard)
D2R Philips (standard)
Other models I can get from time to time are:
D2R Philips (H4 based)
D2S Philips (H7 Based)
If you're interested, let me know. I might order a ton of them after I come back from my vacation on the 20th.
If there isn't enough support however, I wont be ordering them.
Please keep in mind that this is for the bulbs only, ballasts are required to use these and will need to be bought seperately. Contact me if you want to buy them through me though, I get them fairly inexpensive (around $150)
p.s. if you're thinking...eww....4100k?? get in with the times man, i want 7000k or 8000k! Do you want to see what you're paying an extra few hundred dollars for? You guessed it, BLUE COATED D2S BULBS. If it's that important for you, by all means, I can get em but it's expensive.
This is a 7000k bulb

no
I can only get OEM. All of the H1/9006/9005 bulbs I've been told are rebased by 3rd parties.

I've done it, maybe if I can borrow the digicam off of my father tonight I'll take a pic as to how I did it.

If you can get me real new Philips D2S H7 for $150/pair, that will be great.
I go order the Hella H7 projectors right now!

djcontra,
if you could post a picture of this it would be great. Also did you have any problems with the "return" wire giving you any black spots in the beam pattern?
