need guru info asap- m3 manual trans onto e46 320i auto?
would a 2005 M3 manual 5 speed transmission mate to a 00-01 e46 320i motor?
is it Doable? anybody know?

Yes, it will bolt up. But a different drive shalf might be needed.
It's a 6 speed btw.

 well unlike having an opinion & spreading Geopolitical gossip..just taking someones opinion as 100% fact when money is in question is never advised. so yeah im trying to do some 'due dilligence' on it. which is Hard cause its custom weird stuff

^^trevor is right, the trans will bolt up no problem (including the SMG, but the management for the SMG will be difficult to set up). It would be a 6 speed, not a 5 speed.

ya thats the other way around..no?
if u had m3 motor with 320 tranny then..its a big stresss to the tranny
but the other wy around...m3 tranny will own that 320 motor . lol power shift every gear. jkjk.
