I've emailed Dave asking both questions. Eddie, I'd definitely like to take your MC if it's right for this application. Just did some searching on the FAQ and it seems like they're compatible. Waiting for Dave's answer....

Alright, Dave says that the current hard lines should be fine. I'm going to take my chances. He recommended that I don't use an E12 MC until my rears are upgraded to discs.
