Subwoofer install!

Hey all,

I did a quick search and couldn't find a thread relevant to my question, so here goes:

I have an e36 sedan and I would like to install a subwoofer. I will be running the signal cables from the head unit under the carpet and under the rear seats to the trunk. However, I have no idea how I will fasten the amp and sub in the trunk.

Can I screw the amp into the rear seats? I have no idea what material is behind there. I think I will screw in large velcro straps so that I can remove it all if I need to.

Does anyone with experience have any ideas? How do you normally secure a sub enclosure?
