Price of a 1995 M3?

Hey just want opinions on the price of a 1995 M3.
-Black on Black
-2 owners
-180 xxx Km
-no rust
-Interior is 8 out of 10 small defects due to age
-17 inch Kosei K1's
-Dinan chip and intake
I can get it for $9, 000.

Everything checks out nice. Great maintenance record.

My experience lately has been looking at 325is considerably cheaper for the same year.
I would appreciate some feedback.
Thanks

You're paying 9000$ for a car worth 6K in the us (where its from, no 95's were sold in canada)

Yeah, sounded high to me. Unless it's been loved by it's current owner you will probably pay another 1-2k maybe more in refreshing things like bushings and cooling system, etc.

Where are you factoring for the time expense to go get the car, the extra travel costs to get the car, the extra few fees at the border, etc???

9K for a well sorted, clean M3, regardless where it came from, as long as it is already imported is a reasonable price IMO. You also have the luxury of thoroughly inspecting it and having a PPI done in front of you as opposed to wasting time to go see a turd.

Thanks

Thats landed with everything considered. All of the costs for travel, car history, duty, GST, inspection there, inspection here, DRL's and block heater installed and an extra couple of hundred for incidentals.
Thanks for the tips though if I hadn't done my homework it would have been nice to have some one point those out.
prior to this year 1995's were restricted due to bumper height issues (?). Not sure if that was the cause but now the 15 year rule applys. I phoned Transport Canada and Canadian Border service on this to get the low down. Didn't want the car to be refused at the border.
I wanted opinions on the overall price to see if it was in line with the other M3's pricing.
Trying not to think with the "M3 lust" that has overtaken me since test driving a couple.
Cheers

9K for a clean M3 is high for the US. If its mint, mabye. Kaffka lives less than 2 hours from the montana border, there's no PST in this province, and the 95's are RIV excempt since they're over 15 years old. So 6.1% duty, 5% GST and 100$ A/C tax. And a greyhound ticket to montana.

I live very far north of you in alberta (about 3 hours north of edmonton)

I'll post some pics if I do get the car.
Since the wack job cut off that guys head on the Greyhound I prefer to fly. Call me paranoid, I also hate taking long bus rides.

Have you imported a car into alberta before? There's a few extra steps (you need an out of province inspection).

I was on a greyhound bus in the US when that happened (going to SD to buy my e30).

BTW almost all of the states directly south of you dont use salt.
